As part of your disaster recovery plan, whether it’s it for your office network or your home workstation, having an offsite copy of your data is a vital part of that plan. But how do you know which one to choose?
Last week I had the great pleasure of securing an interview with the legendary David Davis, where we discussed the benefits of using VMWare in the small business environment.
David is a VCP4, vExpert, and CCIE. He has been in the IT industry for 20+ years. In that time, he has served as a system/network administrator and IT datacenter manager. He is one of only 300 vExperts worldwide, and has authored hundreds of articles, co–authored one book, and six video training courses covering topics like VMware, Windows, Cisco, Linux, and Security. David writes for Virtualization Review magazine and has spoken at numerous conferences about Virtualization in the USA and Canada.
You can read the full interview below.

That couldn’t be further from the truth; there is SO MUCH difference between the two devices.
This basic overview hopes to explain the main differences between hubs and switches, and to give you a better understanding of the two.
